Important: Add and remove selections on Select sections (https://sp-dev.fly.dev/accounts/applications/select-sections/`). Review cart is read-only for line items — there is no Remove on the cart page.
On sp-dev, admin@lsu.edu is not admin123.
Step 0 — Cart has one section (Priority: P1)
- Learner: Log in as
applicant@example.com/TestPass123!. - Learner: Open Select sections — Jan 1, 2026 Legal Research & Writing shows Remove (section in cart). If it shows Add, complete /sp-06-select-sections-v2 Step 1 first.
- Learner: Click Review cart (or open
https://sp-dev.fly.dev/accounts/applications/checkout/`).
Step 1 — Review one line before payment (Priority: P1)
- Learner: On Review cart, read the heading Review your cart.
- Learner: Confirm one line: course PLG-LRW-201, Legal Research & Writing, $649.00. Total: $649.00.
- Learner: Confirm Continue to payment is on the page. There is no active card entry form on this review screen (card entry appears after Continue to payment — that is /sp-08-pay-tuition-v2).
- Learner: Open My Enrollments — still no section enrollments.
- Learner: Open Payments & Receipts — note whether a Pending line appeared from opening Review cart (see Observations below).
Step 2 — Empty cart (Priority: P1)
- Learner: Go back to Select sections (browser back or
https://sp-dev.fly.dev/accounts/applications/select-sections/`). - Learner: On the Jan 1, 2026 row, click Remove.
- Learner: Open Review cart again.
Step 3 — Remove and re-add updates the cart (Priority: P1)
- Learner: On Select sections, click Add on the Jan 1, 2026 row again.
- Learner: Open Review cart — $649.00 line and total are back. Continue to payment returns.
- Learner: Confirm My Enrollments still has no enrollments and no Completed tuition order was created.
Step 4 — Two lines in the cart (Priority: P2)
- Superuser: Open https://sp-dev.fly.dev/admin/courses/section/ → open Legal Research & Writing with start date Sep 1, 2026.
- Superuser: Set Enrollment start / Enrollment end so enrollment is open today. Set Price at add to 100.00 → save.
- Learner: On Select sections, click Add on Sep 1, 2026 (both rows should show Remove).
- Learner: Open Review cart — two lines: $649.00 and $100.00, Total: $749.00. Still no card form on the review page.
- Superuser: When finished, restore Sep 1, 2026 enrollment dates and price if other testers need the default not-open state.
Step 5 — Zero price at add (Priority: P2)
- Superuser: Open the Jan 1, 2026 PLG-LRW-201 section → set Price at add to 0.00 → save.
- Learner: On Select sections, click Remove then Add on the Jan 1, 2026 row (refreshes cart price).
- Learner: Open Review cart — section listed at $0.00 (or $0). Total reflects the zero line.
- Superuser: Set Price at add back to 649.00 → save.
- Learner: Remove and Add the Jan 1, 2026 row again → Review cart shows $649.00 for downstream SP-08 testing.
